Scout Installs New Dwaas Kill Welcome Kiosk

If you’re visiting the Dwaas Kill Nature Preserve, look for a new welcome kiosk that was constructed in 2015 located about 100 feet down the main entrance path, off of Pierce Road.  The kiosk has information about the preserve as well a new trail map.  Christopher Bell coordinated the project as part of a greater community benefit project towards earning the Eagle Scout achievement in Boy Scouts.

The Dwaas Kill Nature Preserve is a 240-acre property owned by the Town of Clifton Park. The main trailhead entrance is located mid-way along Pierce Road.
