UPDATE: Kinns Park Alert: Rescheduled Dead Tree Removal Beginning Mar. 4

WIND CONDITIONS UNSAFE – Due to previously, inadequate weather conditions, tree removal will begin the afternoon of Friday, March 4, 2016, instead of what had been previously posted and then postponed for Feb. 24, and subsequently Feb. 26.

On Friday, March 4, 2016, Kinns Road Park will be closed for tree removal activities, from approximately noon to 3 pm. All access to the park will be restricted when the park is closed. Signage will be placed at the entrance of the parking lot indicating the park is closed, while work is in progress.

The Town of Clifton Park in conjunction with the BOCES Forestry Program will be removing dead trees in the general area near the parking lot.

Please know that tree work will continue on specific days over the next couple of weeks. Weather permitting, tree removal will also be conducted on Monday, March 7; Wed., March 9, and Friday, March 11.

Detailed, up-to-date information will be posted on the town’s main website, www.cliftonpark.org as the tree removal progresses, to alert park visitors as to upcoming specific closure dates.

Please contact Town Supervisor Phil Barrett’s office at (518) 371-0083, with any questions.
