3rd Annual “Things that Go Bump in the Night” is Sat., Oct. 14

Join local nature enthusiasts for a guided walk and stop at nature exploration stations to learn more about animals, birds and insects for the 3rd Annual “Things that Go Bump in the Night” event on Saturday early evening, Oct. 14, from 6 and 8 p.m. for this night-time event.  Warm up at the campfire and join us for light refreshments after the walk!

New in 2017!  An environmental educator intern from the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation’s Five Rivers Environmental Education Center will be on hand to help feature a nature station.  Also, the New York State Museum is loaning educational material for this special event.

The activities will take place at Veterans’ Memorial Park, located off of Elks Trail, off the west side of MacElroy Road.  Please park in the larger parking lot on the right side of the driveway, next to the softball fields.

The event gathering location will be at the picnic pavilion on the left side of the entrance driveway.

This community event is geared for families, and all ages, and is presented by volunteers from the Town of Clifton Park Open Space, Trails & Riverfront Committee, Girls Scouts, Boy Scout Troop 45, and the Jonesville Fire Department and Explorer Post.
