Hike at Dwaas Kill Nature Preserve on Fri., Dec. 1: Check out a new, potential route

For this month’s Town of Clifton Park’s Stewardship Hike, join staff and volunteers in exploring a rugged, “draft” trail route loop that reaches more westerly, and interior areas of the Dwaas Kill Nature Preserve. The hike, set for Friday, Dec. 1, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., may be anticipated to be on challenging terrain. Please be prepared with appropriate, waterproof footwear for uneven ground, steepness at times, and potential wet conditions along the southern areas.

Please meet up at the Dwaas Kill Nature Preserve’s “main entrance” which is about mid-way along Pierce Road, on the west side of the road.

We appreciate feedback on this proposed trail route, part of an effort to offer a longer loop.

If you plan to attend the Dec. 1 hike, please RSVP to the Open Space Coordinator at (518) 371-6054.
