Join us for a guided hike to one of Clifton Park’s several Letterboxes as part of the Passport to Nature Program. This hike is slated for Wednesday, April 5, at 9:30 a.m., at Veterans’ Memorial Park, off of Elks Trail, and MacElroy Road, and is perfect for parents/grandparents/caregivers and their little ones.
The theme for this hike is “farmfields growing back to nature.”
Each participant will receive a Passport to Nature booklet, and we will fill it out along the hike, while looking for clues to lead us to the Letterbox! Once we find the Letterbox together, each hiker will stamp their Nature Passport and be on their way towards earning a pin from the Town of Clifton Park’s Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Affairs.
Meet up at about 9:20 a.m. for a 9:30 a.m. start. The hike will be approximately one hour.
The program is free, but please pre-register through the Parks Department online registration at https://recs.egov.basgov.com/cliftonpark/User/Login. For more information call (518) 371-6667.
