A May 2015 community celebration of Clifton Park’s Open Spaces and Natural Areas included guided hikes around town, and a gathering at Historic Grooms Tavern.  Multiple partners featured activities and exhibits including by: the Southern Adirondack Beekeepers Association, Friends of Clifton Park Open Space, Capital Region Audubon, Mohawk Towpath Scenic Byway Coalition, Friends of the Mohawk Towpath Byway, Saratoga P.L.A.N., Town of Clifton Park Arts & Culture Commission, Curious by Nature – Wildflower Guides & Photography, and the Town of Clifton Park Historic Preservation Commission.  The event was sponsored by the Town of Clifton Park Open Space, Trails & Riverfront Committee and the Town of Clifton Park Town Board.
