The 26th Annual Clifton Park Farm Fest will be held in the Town of Clifton Park the weekend of Sept. 15 and 16, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; One Event is Sept. 14
This community event is a celebration of farming in Clifton Park, and is a self-guided tour of local farms throughout Clifton Park, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., both days. Selected events begin at 8 a.m. On Friday, Sept. 14, the weekend kicks off with a special event at Historic Grooms Tavern, at 7 p.m. with a guest panel presenting on lawn and landscape care, best practices in environmental stewardship, and how to move away from pesticide use, as organized by the Town’s G.R.E.E.N. Committee.
Participating locations include: Riverview Orchards, 660 Riverview Road; Bowman Orchard, 141 Sugar Hill Road; Shepherd’s Hey Farm, 43 Riverview Road; Clifton Park-Halfmoon Library, 475 Moe Road; Historic Grooms Tavern, 290 Sugar Hill Road & Grooms Rd.; Amity Reformed Church, 335 Riverview Road; Vischer Ferry General Store, 357 Riverview Road; and Vischer Ferry Fire Station #1, Riverview & Crescent Road.
