Parent & Me Hike at Ushers Road State Forest

Come explore Clifton Park’s Open Spaces through a nature education program geared for young children. This “Parent & Me” Hike will be held at Ushers Road State Forest, located off of Ushers Road. The park entrance, and small parking lot, is located east of Route 9. (The entrance is in the Town of Halfmoon, while the rest of the property is in the Town of Clifton Park.) This is the fourth of five hikes at different locations, are planned for each consecutive, Wednesday morning in March 2017.
Meet-up on Wed., March 22, at 9:20 a.m. for the hike start at 9:30 a.m. and will incorporate a nature education theme. The hike will last approximately one hour.
Program facilitator Kelsi Clark will lead this morning nature outing for young children and their parents/grandparents/caregivers.
Walks are designed to be “jogging stroller friendly” but a child backpack or front carrier is recommended, depending on the age of the child participants.
Please dress appropriately for weather, and trail conditions.
