Parent & Me Hike at Vischer Ferry Nature Preserve (Ferry Dr Entrance)

Come explore Clifton Park’s Open Spaces through a nature education program geared for young children. This “Parent & Me” Hike is at Vischer Ferry Nature & Historic Preserve, at the Ferry Drive Entrance (end of Ferry Drive) overlooking the Mohawk River. This is the first of five hikes at different locations, are planned for each consecutive, Wednesday morning in March 2017.
Meet-up at 9:20 a.m. for the hike start at 9:30 a.m. and will incorporate a nature education theme. The hike will last approximately one hour.
Program facilitator Kelsi Clark will lead this morning nature outing for young children and their parents/grandparents/caregivers.
Walks are designed to be “jogging stroller friendly” but a child backpack or front carrier is recommended, depending on the age of the child participants.
Please dress appropriately for weather, and trail conditions.
